For this event, a group of 6 students will present on a video and website project they completed in collaboration with other DBS students under the guidance of Prof. Mari Iizuka, Youth for SDGs: Our World, Our Voice. Each student made videos about their home country and business opportunities related to sustainable development goals (SDGs) that they wished to communicate to Japanese businesses. This web/video project aims to promote open innovation of Japanese companies and to contribute to the development of Africa.

A total of 27 Doshisha Global MBA students from 17 different countries participated in this project. In their videos, students explore tangible solutions to real problems and ways that businesses can help create a sustainable world. They are now hoping to expand this project to welcome contributions from international students studying at other universities in Japan.
This project was sponsored by the Japan Global Compact Academic Network and co-sponsored by Doshisha Business School, with support from The Doshisha University Conscience Research Project. Special thanks to all of the students in Prof. Iizuka's AY2018 fall semester Business and Society in Global Context class for their hard work and meaningful contributions to this project.
