Rugby FieldThe infield of the rugby field is covered with FIFA 2-Star Standard long-pile artificial turf produced by Polytan❘STI, Germany, which was the biggest selling artificial turf in 2007 when the field was built. The turf is designed to allow players to perform to the best of their ability while assuring their safety by reducing the load on players’ feet. The outfield is covered by bona yarn artificial grass from England, which is thick as well as elastic.
Athletics GroundThe all-weather athletics ground with a urethane track has an inclined running course around the track and a viewing stand with about 100 seats. The ground, which is authorized as Category 3 by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations, is also used for the education and research activities of the university.
American Football and Soccer GroundThe ground was fully installed with artificial turf covering 18,900 square meters in 2005. Unlike soil surfaces which become muddy in the rain, artificial turf surfaces provide an excellent training environment in all weather conditions.
