Banseisodo

Banseisodo

Banseisodo is located on the shore of Lake Yamanaka, one of the five lakes (Fuji-goko) around Mt. Fuji. It is the house where the acclaimed Japanese journalist and historian Soho Tokutomi (1863-1957) spent his final years, after which it was donated to Doshisha University. It is now used as an accommodation facility by those connected with Doshisha, including students, teachers and staff.
