Report:Seoul Theological University Japanese Language and Culture Program Year of 2018 – Imadegawa Campus

Updated Jan. 29, 2019
We welcomed 10 international students from Seoul Theological University, Korea, as participants of a short-term study program named “Japanese Language and Culture Program.”
Seoul Theological University is a private university in Seoul, Korea. All of the participants of this program have high proficiency in Japanese. 12 Doshisha students also participated in this program as a volunteer supporter to make their study more interesting, fun and fruitful, and ended up becoming good friends with them. STU students seemed to learn a lot from classes and field works by interacting closely with Doshisha students and local people during their stay. Even though it was a very short period of time, they remarkably grew and gained great memories back home that we believe will help them enhance their future success.
At the end of the program, the students gave a result presentation of their research in fluent Japanese.
We also had a farewell party on January 24th, the last day of the program, at the International Community Lounge and closed the program with cheerful atmosphere. We look forward anyone from the participants’ to coming back to Doshisha University.
