Updated Feb. 13, 2019
During the period of January 14th to 24th, 2020, we welcomed 11 international students from Seoul Theological University, Korea as participants of a short-term study program named “Japanese Language and Culture Program” at Imadegawa Campus.
Seoul Theological University is a private university in Bucheon—a satellite city of Seoul—Korea. All of the participants of this program had high proficiency in Japanese, they tried to deepen their understandings about Japanese society and culture through the classes and field works during their stay.
At the end of the program, the students gave a result presentation of their studies—including what they have learnt in class, watched and experienced through the field works in various places, and interviews with the local residents—in fluent Japanese. They seem to have grown remarkably in a short period of time, and gained great experiences that will help them enhance their future success.
We also had a program closing ceremony and farewell party at the International Community Lounge on the last day, and the program was closed with lots of smiles in a cheerful atmosphere.
