(Director, Risk Management Headquarters)

The situation as regards infection with the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) is currently changing by the day. The present is thought to be a crucially important time for bringing Covid-19 infection to an end. To prevent the spread of infection, we have thus far been asking you to wash your hands and gargle when returning home, follow the proper etiquette when coughing and sneezing, and take other action as well as refrain from or postpone all sorts of activities.

Amid apprehensions about the further spread of Covid-19 infection in Japan, we have updated our previous Doshisha University Action notice dated January 31 as noted below, in accordance with a notice from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology dated March 2 and an announcement by the Novel Coronavirus Response Headquarters established by the Cabinet dated March 5. We ask you to continue to stay apprised of the latest related information on the spread of the virus, and to exercise prudence in your judgment and actions.

4.
If you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms of a cold or influenza, or are otherwise not feeling well, please stay at home (do not come to the university either) and care for yourself there etc.
