Updated Jan. 21, 2021
To all students:
A state of emergency declaration was issued for Kyoto Prefecture on January 13, 2021. However, we will continue face-to-face classes (including in-class evaluation of written performance) as currently in progress and conduct the face-to-face final examination (written) as scheduled in the Fall Semester.
Information on in-class evaluation and the final examination can be checked from "Examination" in the side menu on DUET after logging in. For students at high risk of becoming seriously ill if infected with COVID-19, due to underlying or chronic medical conditions, students living together with family members who are at high risk of becoming seriously ill if infected, due to similar reasons, and students who hesitate to attend school due to the risk of infection, we will take measures, including securing opportunities to take classes and the examination, without forcing them to come to campus. Where applicable, please contact the office of the faculty/school or graduate school in which you are enrolled as soon as possible (in advance of the starting time of the examination on the day of the examination). If you have any symptoms of suspected infection of COVID-19, you may be suspended from school attendance on a declaration basis based on the Flowchart of whether or not they are allowed to come to the campus (Japanese Only) posted on the University website. Please check the content carefully and, where applicable, promptly contact the office of the faculty/school or graduate school in which you are enrolled.
If there is a need to change the class and examination implementation method according to the infection status of COVID-19 in the future, we will inform you on the University website or DUET according to usual procedure.
