Doshisha University/Sophia University Symposium on Diversity: Diversity Promotion Model for Private Universities – Learning on Advanced Overseas Cases

Doshisha University has received a government grant on the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) under the Diversity Research Environment Initiative Project in 2021. Within the project advanced examples of diversity promotion in different countries have been investigated. The purpose of this symposium is to learn about advanced cases overseas in order to improve the research environment for female researchers in Japanese academia.

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus
Please wear a mask when attending the symposium.
Please use a sanitizer at the venue.
Please check your physical condition before attending the symposium.

Please refrain from attending the symposium if you have;
  • Have a fever of 37.5°C or higher or above average temperature.
  • Have visited a doctor or taken medication for fever or cold symptoms within the last two weeks.
  • Have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for a new coronavirus infection.
  • Have visited a country or region where the government has imposed entry restrictions or a post-entry observation period within the last two weeks or have had close contact with someone living in such a country or region.

  • Or if you feel unwell due to coughing, dyspnea, general malaise, sore throat, nasal discharge/congestion, loss of taste or smell, eye pain or redness, headache, joint or muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, etc.
