We are delighted to announce that the Center for Japanese Language and Culture will organize "Doshisha Summer Session 2022" in July 2022. The summer session is an online two-week-long program. Participants will learn "Japanese Language" and "Traditional Culture and Life in Kyoto". Each class is usually kept to a small group, and the participants will have supporting system by students of Doshisha University and Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, such as helping discussion sessions in Japanese culture classes. Additionally, some events are organized to interact with those students.

Requirements
- A basic level of Japanese proficiency
(those who can at least read Hiragana, Katakana and give a brief self-introduction in Japanese)- *
- Those with no previous knowledge of Japanese are not eligible.
- High school diploma or above
- *
- Priority will be given to students from Doshisha’s partner institutions in case the number of applicants exceeds the quota.
- *
- Applications from both domestic and overseas are welcomed.
Duration
July 18 (Mon) -29 (Fri), 2022- *
- On July 12 (Tue) there will be an orientation, Japanese language placement test and an opportunity to get to know Doshisha students.
