Doshisha Week 2022 will be held on Nov. 25th!

Doshisha Week 2022 will be co-hosted with the University of Tübingen, Nov. 25th (Fri). This event has been held since 2019 as an exchange program between the two universities. This year, with the cooperation of the Doshisha University Calligraphy Club, we will have the event with the theme “Calligraphy” aiming of student exchange.

The programs will include a lecture on calligraphy (by calligrapher Mr. Taiho Konishi), the unveiling of Japanese scrolls (by Dr. Karin v. Moser Filseck), an introduction of the Doshisha University Calligraphy Club, a calligraphy workshop, and an exhibition of works by the Doshisha University Calligraphy Club.

Each university will have a face-to-face session, which is also broadcast live online. If you are interested in calligraphy and international exchange, please join us!
