President's Daily Report

On March 6, the new arena, part of the sports complex construction project on the Kyotanabe Campus, was completed, and a completion ceremony was held.
The new arena, which will serve as a new sports hub alongside the Davis Memorial Hall, was named the "Yamamoto Kakuma Memorial Arena" in honor of Yamamoto Kakuma, who worked alongside Jerome Davis to establish Doshisha English School.
We hope to focus not only on its use for regular and extracurricular activities, but also on promoting industry-government-academia collaboration with local governments, residents, and companies through sports.
