Visit by the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and the Consul General
On March 7, a delegation of 35 people, led by Mr. Woo Wonshik, Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, and including Mr. Lee Youngcha, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Osaka, visited the poetry monument of Yoon Dong-ju on our university campus.
Mr. Woo Wonshik is an alumnus of Yonsei University, one of our partner institutions. As we walked around campus, we shared stories about Yonsei University and Yoon Dong-ju.
Afterwards, they offered flowers at the Yoon Dong-ju Poetry Monument, and I explained the honorary degree conferment ceremony held for Yoon Dong-ju in February 2025.
Many students from the Republic of Korea are currently studying at our university.
We will continue our efforts to disseminate information so that more people will take an interest in our university.
