Doshisha Fair in Aichi/Nagoya" Held
On March 14, we held the “Doshisha Fair in Aichi/Nagoya” at Chunichi Hall in Nagoya.
In the first part of the fair, Mr. Yasuhiro Terabe (a graduate of Doshisha University’s Faculty of Law), President and CEO of SeaHorses Mikawa Co., Ltd., a professional basketball club in the B.LEAGUE, gave a lecture titled “Toward a Community-Rooted Sports Club: What I Learned in Kyoto and How I Put It to Use.”
Following this, Ai Matsubara (a graduate of Doshisha University’s Faculty of Sociology) from Aisin Corporation and Professor Eriko Matsumura from the University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering joined the stage. With Vice President Hiroyasu serving as facilitator, we held a panel discussion on the theme “The Appeal of Studying in Kyoto.”
In the second part of the event, we held an alumni networking reception, providing an opportunity to interact with many alumni.
Approximately 200 people, including members of the general public and alumni, attended the fair, and we believe they were able to experience the appeal of studying in Kyoto.
For this fair, we received support from many people, particularly members of the Doshisha Alumni Association Aichi Chapter. Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude.
