President's Daily Report

On October 26th, I attended the victory celebration for the Doshisha University Swimming Club's World Championship victories, held at the Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto. During the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore this past July, Ms. Ichika Kajimoto and Ms. Yasuki Fujimoto, both currently enrolled at our university, competed. Ms. Kajimoto made history by winning Japan's first-ever gold medal in the Open Water 3km Knockout Sprint event. Furthermore, both athletes have achieved outstanding results by winning the 2025 Japan Student Championships. Many people attended the celebration banquet, and we celebrated their remarkable achievements together. We wish continued success to both athletes and the Swimming Club in their future endeavors.
