Attended the "Osaka Doshisha Alumni Gathering and Christmas Party"
On December 3rd, I attended the "Osaka Doshisha Alumni Gathering and Christmas Party" hosted by the Osaka Branch of the Doshisha Alumni Association at the Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka.
The first part of the Christmas party featured a violin and piano duo, followed by a live jazz performance.
For the jazz live, jazz singer Taeko Fukao, who also gave an outstanding performance at Homecoming Day, was present, treating us to her powerful vocals.
The pianist, bassist, and drummer were also Doshisha University alumni, delivering a well-synchronized performance.
The subsequent social gathering drew approximately 300 alums.
Paralympic archer Tomohiro Ueyama, also an alumnus of our university, was present, and I had the opportunity to speak with him.
Furthermore, at the conclusion of the event, we received a donation certificate from the Osaka Branch designated for the construction of the new library.
Once again, I extend my deepest gratitude. I sincerely pray that the joy and peace of Christmas may be with you all.
