President's Daily Report

The historical drama “Yae no Sakura (Cherryblossoms of Yae)”, originally broadcast on NHK's Taiga Drama series from January 2013, will be rebroadcast on NHK BS.
The protagonist, Yae, was the wife of Joseph Hardy Neesima, the founder of Doshisha, making this story deeply connected to our institution.
We have received posters from NHK Fukushima Broadcasting Station and displayed them on campus.
The rebroadcast begins on 5 January 2026. I encourage you to watch.
