Visit to O.P. Jindal Global University
On 13th February, we visited our partner institution, O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), located in northern India. Although relatively new, established in 2009, JGU is a dynamic institution that has ranked first in the QS Indian Private Universities Rankings for three consecutive years since 2023. Our university signed academic exchange and faculty exchange agreements with JGU in June 2025.
We toured the university's magnificent research and teaching facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology, its extensive sports facilities, a moot court, a theatre, and even the Constitution Museum, which uses art and AI to convey the history of the Indian Constitution. Subsequently, we exchanged views on future developments between our university and JGU with numerous deans and international relations staff.
We also met students from the University of Tokyo, Hiroshima University, and Ritsumeikan University studying in India, gaining insights into their local living and learning environments.
Visiting the campus, exchanging views with JGU faculty, and observing students in action reaffirmed JGU's appeal and the wider allure of studying in India. We look forward to further concretising our collaboration with JGU.
