Attended the Doshisha University Carbon Recycling Technology Forum 2025 Symposium
On February 25, the Doshisha University Carbon Recycling Technology Forum 2025 Symposium was held at Hardy Hall in Kambaikan on the Muromachi Campus. I attended and gave opening remarks.
On June 1, 2021, Doshisha University launched the Doshisha University Carbon Recycling Education and Research Platform as a university-wide initiative to promote education and research activities through collaboration among industry, government, and academia, with the aim of realizing a society that recycles greenhouse gas CO2.
In addition, the Doshisha University Carbon Recycling Technology Forum was established on June 1, 2022, as a mechanism for exchanging information to tackle increasingly complex environmental and energy issues in collaboration with national research institutions, local governments, and companies.
This symposium focused on thermal energy and synthetic fuels and was held both in person and online.
We will continue to exchange information with various organizations and work to solve social issues.
