President's Daily Report

On June 5, we held a public symposium titled “Dialogue between Liberalism and Post-Liberalism,” featuring Professor Patrick Deneen of the University of Notre Dame.

Before the event, Professor Deneen paid a courtesy visit, and we had the opportunity to speak with him for about an hour.

The symposium was held at Hardy Hall in the Kambaikan building. Following Professor Deneen’s keynote address, a panel discussion featuring Professor Seiko Mimaki from the Graduate School of Global Studies, Professor Toru Yoshida from the Faculty of Policy Studies, and Professor Takeshi Iida from the Faculty of Law took place.

After the panel discussion, participants asked a variety of questions, making it a valuable opportunity for shared reflection.
