President's Daily Report

On June 6, I delivered a commemorative lecture at Tōshōdai-ji, the head temple of the Ritsu sect in Nara City, as part of the Founding Monk’s Memorial Service and Relic Ceremony.
The one-hour lecture was titled “The Role and Challenges of Religion in Modern Society.”
Before the lecture, I also participated in the Relic Ceremony (Buddhist service).
In addition, I had the opportunity to view the special public exhibition of the National Treasure, the Seated Statue of Venerable Ganjin, making it a day filled with rarely available experiences.
