President's Daily Report

On June 8, a delegation of four from Amherst College, including Provost Martha M. Umphrey and Vice President Kate Salop, visited our university for a meeting.

Amherst College is the institution where Doshisha’s founder, Joshep Hardy Neesima, studied and graduated in 1870. Our university has academic and faculty exchange agreements with Amherst College.

The delegation will stay in Kyoto for several days during this visit.
We will continue to strengthen our collaboration as universities with deep ties.
