Fall 2026 Convocation Ceremony Held
On Monday, September 21, the Fall 2026 convocation ceremony for Doshisha University and Doshisha University Graduate School was held at Hardy Hall in Kambaikan.
A total of 114 new students enrolled for the fall semester, including those from the Institute of Liberal Arts (ILA)—where students can earn a degree exclusively through courses taught in English—as well as new students from the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, the Graduate School of Life and Medical Sciences, the Graduate School of Global Studies, and the Graduate School of Business.
The ceremony was conducted bilingually in Japanese and English, and in my address as President, I conveyed my congratulations and expectations to the new students.

I wish all new students a fruitful and rewarding academic life ahead.
