Our nearest international airport is Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka.

The most convenient way to reach Kyoto Station from KIX is by limousine bus, which takes approximately 90 minutes. If you prefer to travel by train, you may take the JR Haruka Limited Express, which also takes about 90 minutes.

Another option is to fly into Tokyo and then transfer to a domestic flight to Osaka (either KIX or ITM), or travel from Tokyo (NRT or HND) to Kyoto by Shinkansen. The fastest Shinkansen service, Nozomi, takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
