Report: "SIED Game Time! " (presented by SIED)

Updated May 31, 2022
Hello, this is SIED! On Monday, May 23rd, we held a SIED event "SIED Game Time!" at the International Community Lounge, and a total of 6 people, 2 international students and 4 local students, participated!

At this event, international students and local students played cards game and interacted with each other. Participants were seriously focusing on and playing the game "193(ikkyusan)" together. "193" is Japanese game using cards. It was new for international students, but they got used to the rule and enjoyed it. It was easy to get along each other through playing game, so participants enjoyed talking with each other about their home countries, anime, and TV dramas.

We played the game only during the lunch break, but SIED staff were happy to see the participants enjoying themselves so much! After the event, we received many comments such as, "It was a lot of fun to interact with each other! I want to participate again!","I had a lot of fun interacting with the participants!". We are happy if this event became the first step to facilitate international exchange. Thank you very much for your participation! We are planning to hold part 2 of SIED Game Time!, so please join us!

SIED will continue to take thorough measures to prevent new coronavirus infection and plan various international exchange events. We look forward to your participation♪
