Peter Neff, Professor at the Faculty of Global Communications, and his colleague examined the preference of humor strategies which students of foreign language (FL) show in classrooms, from their survey with a total of 243 FL learners in 24 different countries. This can answer the questions which types of humor should be employed appropriately and effectively in FL classrooms.
