President's Daily Report

On May 16, I attended the interment ceremony at the Doshisha Communal Cemetery.
Normally, the interment ceremony is held at the Doshisha Cemetery on the summit of Mt. Nyakuoji; however, due to reports of bear sightings within Kyoto City, the ceremony was held on the grounds of Nyakuoji Shrine at the foot of Mt. Nyakuoji for safety.
This year, the remains of nine individuals who contributed to Doshisha were interred at the Doshisha Communal Cemetery.
We would like to express our respect and deep gratitude for their contributions to Doshisha during their lifetimes.
