President's Daily Report

On July 1, a Chapel Hour was held at the Doshisha Chapel on the Imadegawa Campus. I delivered a message titled “Peacemakers,” based on Matthew 5:9. In the message, I highlighted relevant aspects of Doshisha University’s vision and discussed the significance of the ceremony to confer an honorary degree on Yoon Dong-ju (February 16, 2025).

Chapel Hour is one of the programs offered by the University’s Center for Christian Culture. It is held in the on-campus chapel four times a week at the Imadegawa Campus and three times a week at the Kyotanabe Campus during the academic term.

Today’s Chapel Hour was attended by so many students and faculty members that the venue was filled to capacity.
