Naoto Saitoh, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, and his colleagues have succeeded in developing a novel fluorescent indicator of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) called gCarvi. This can lead to determining cAMP dynamics underlying several neuronal functions.
