IMADEGAWA
Muromachi Campus
A campus open to the local community, where academic and creative activities take place across generations

The Muromachi Campus, located between the Imadegawa and Shinmachi campuses, was built partly on the former site of the residence of the Ashikaga shogunate in the Muromachi period (1336-1573), called ‘Hana no Gosho’ (Palace of Flowers).
The relics excavated during the construction of Kambaikan provide valuable information for the study of Japan’s medieval history.
